VOLUNTEER

Community Volunteer Opportunities

We are called to be local missionaries in our community by putting our faith into action. There are many ways to serve through our church.

Explore the recurring volunteer opportunities and express your interest by emailing the contact persons below or signing up.

Greeting and ushering

Help people feel welcomed to worship and other special events by becoming an usher or greeter. Contact Kenny Cheshier (kenny@clifftemple.org) to volunteer.

Cafe

Volunteer once or twice a month to help prepare coffee and specialty beverages, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere when we gather as a church family on Sunday mornings. Contact our cafe coordinator (cafecoordinator@clifftemple.org) to receive additional info about the schedule and training.

Music Ministry

Sing in the choir, play handbells, help with preschool or children’s choir, or join the praise band rotation to share your gift. Contact Tom Tillman (tom@clifftemple.org) to get started.

Preschool & Children's Ministry

You can make a difference in the lives of children, from teaching to helping check in kids to a secure environment. Background check required. Contact Michelle Collins (michelle@clifftemple.org) to learn more.

Help raise the next generation through teaching, chaperoning events, or serving with local youth-led efforts such as feeding students at Promise House once a month. Background check required. Contact Kenny Cheshier (kenny@clifftemple.org) to find out how you can help.

Youth Ministry

If you have a passion to work with senior adults (65 and over), we have a variety of opportunities: helping with senior adult gameday each Wednesday, helping with Bible studies, helping to serve by ministering at The Villages of Dallas nursing home and other homes in the area, visiting with our homebound members who can’t be here in person, chaperoning for monthly events and outings, etc. Contact Kenny Cheshier (kenny@clifftemple.org) to find out how you can help.
