Children from birth through fifth grade have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning of the Bible in a multisensory classroom setting.

After Sunday School we offer Worship Care, which is a time for children to play and review the day’s Bible lesson while you are at the morning worship service. Infants through pre-K are welcome to attend Worship Care, or they may join the worship service with you. For parents of children who attend Worship Care, we ask that they help once every 7 - 8 weeks. Worship Care runs from 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Preschool Ministry
At Cliff Temple, we believe a strong foundation for loving God and loving others can begin at an early age. Every child can be a missionary for Christ.
Our preschool ministry includes infants through kindergarten. We offer Sunday School classes for all children and childcare for infants-preschoolers during worship. When your child enters kindergarten, we help you introduce them to the worship service.
To create a loving, welcoming, and safe environment for your child, we carefully screen each volunteer who works with our children. We want church to be a place that supports your child’s spiritual, physical, mental, and social development.
For our nursing mothers, we have a nursing room located in our Preschool Hall and a new cry room at the back of the Temple (our main sanctuary).
Please label all bottles, bags, and pacifiers that you bring for your child. Occasionally items are not picked up, and this will help us return the item to you.
Children's Ministry
Knowing God’s great love for them, we want your child to be empowered to share that love with others. Through Sunday School participation and other events throughout the year—Family Easter Celebration, Family Christmas Celebration, Vacation Bible School, and Preteen Camp—we hope your child will be spiritually formed, engaged, and challenged to be an everyday missionary for Christ.
Our children’s ministry includes children in 1st through 5th grades. While your child is at church, we strive to provide a safe environment for him or her. We carefully screen each volunteer who works with our children. Supporting your child’s spiritual, physical, mental and social development is our top priority.
Preschoolers and elementary age children enjoy music, missions, and Bible teaching classes on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Check-In
Please check your child in at a check-in kiosk when you are ready for your child to join our activities. Check-in begins 5 minutes before an activity starts. To make the check-in process easier you can download the Church Center app and pre-check in your children from your phone. This will provide you with a QR code to be scanned when you arrive in the children's area.
First-Time Guests:
If you are attending Cliff Temple Kids for the first time please arrive a few minutes early so that we can gather some information. You will receive a packet with all of the important information about our children's ministries as well as a form to complete. There will be a greeter at the check-in location who will guide you through the process - we can't wait to meet you!
Check-Out
Please arrive in the children's area at the end of your child's class. Picking your child up early can disrupt the classroom environment and arriving late for pickup puts unnecessary stress on our incredible volunteers! We greatly appreciate your timely pickup of your children.
When you arrive for check-out please bring your child's security tag. We will allow for siblings or other family members to pick up your child as long as they have the security tag with them or a photo of the tag. You will take the security tag to the kiosk where you will be prompted to scan it to electronically check-out your child. Then you will show your tag to your child's teacher at the classroom door which helps us to match each child with the correct guardian.
