2025 Swing for the Cliff Golf Tournament
Cliff Temple's youth group is hosting a golf tournament on March 25, 2025 to help raise funds for its 2025 summer mission trip to Corpus Christi, Texas.
To sign up to play in the tournament or provide a sponsorship,
If you prefer to contribute a monetary gift in lieu of playing golf,
Youth Group to Corpus Christi
Jobs will include Vacation Bible School and ongoing hurricane relief
Cost: $200 per student
In addition, each student going must find one sponsor or two golfers for the golf tournament on March 31, 2025
MLK Service Day
Join us on Monday, January 20, as we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will serve from 12:30-3:00 p.m. that day.
We have three ways you can help:
1. write notes to our friends at Mission Oak Cliff, The Well, etc.
2. serve at Mission Oak Cliff
3. pick up trash in our community.
We do this each year to honor the legacy of Dr. King.
5th Sunday Family Worship
Note: There will be no children’s Sunday school or childcare this day.
Christmas Day Lunches
Join us for a special Christmas Day lunch hosted by Cliff Temple for those in our community who are experiencing homelessness. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a warm meal and fellowship in a caring environment. There is no charge for the meal.
This festive gathering is an opportunity to connect, share joy, and create a sense of belonging. We look forward to celebrating together and serving our community.
We will also need help with providing desserts, cooking, serving, and cleaning.

Advent Prayer Retreat
This will be an advent prayer retreat during the week of joy, bringing people together for an experience of embodied prayer and guided reflection.

Raku Pottery
Raku is one of the most adventurous and exciting forms of pottery. It involves making a piece of pottery (week one) and then firing the pottery again once it's glazed in a "raku kiln" (week 2).

Trunk or Treat
Join us on October 30 for a fun night where families are invited to trick-or-treat throughout our building. Volunteers set up fun and interactive booths for kids to visit, and then we invite you to join us for a free dinner provided by Cliff Temple Dads!
Bob Ross Art Night
Join Ana Duncan-Garza and Bob Ross (via video) on a journey of creating your own landscape painting. This class will follow along with Bob as he teaches the joy of painting with oil paints. Wigs and painting supplies provided. Dressing up is encouraged!
Labyrinth Art Exhibition
Welcome to the Labyrinth Art Show! Join us for a mesmerizing display of creativity at Cliff Temple Baptist Church. Immerse yourself in a maze of artistic wonders created by talented local artists. The show will enter through the 10th Street Gallery and spiral its way into the church Fellowship Hall; the show itself acts as a labyrinth. This event will take place on Saturday, October 12, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Vendors are available to purchase coffee, juice, or brunch items.
October Artist Reception - Joyce Wascom
After retiring from public schools in 2022, Joyce picked up some dowels, a plate, and paint, and she has been dotting ever since. Without planning or measuring, she finds the center and lets the dots lead the way. Though she experiments with form, size, shape, and depth of dots, her favorite is painting a mandala on a plate, one dot at a time.
