Encounter Weekend
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15 - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16
This is a chance for us to get away and learn practices of how to encounter God in the midst of our busy lives. We will learn, pray, reflect, and, of course, have fun together as we escape to nature.
Any adults are welcome to sign up for this event. Our retreat will take place at the Riverbend Retreat Center. The cost is $60/person which includes lodging and all meals (scholarships are available). The lodging will be in a cabin which will be broken up between men and women.
This retreat is open to whatever will fit your schedule. If you can only come Saturday or need to leave early, you are welcome to do so. You will need to find your own ride to Riverbend, so please refer to the directions below. If you have any questions, please email our Teaching Pastor, Trevor Jamieson, at trevor@clifftemple.org.

North of I20 from downtown Dallas - Take Interstate Highway I-35 E South towards Waco. Exit onto 67 to Glen Rose.
At the second Exxon station on 67, turn left onto Highway 144 south. At the flashing red light at the town square, turn left, staying on Highway 144 (go 1/2 mile.) Turn left at FM 56 "Riverbend Retreat Center" sign and go 2.5 miles. Then, turn left on County Road 411 "Riverbend Retreat Center" sign and travel 1.8 miles. Turn left on County Road 411B at the Riverbend Retreat Center sign-Main entrance is 1/4 mile. retreat center.
